Summer is the peak season for events and a successful event requires careful advance planning. The Finnish Supervisory Agency reminds all event organisers to apply for fixed-term licences to serve alcohol well in advance so that the permit process does not delay the coming summer’s events.

Spring and early summer are the busiest time in permit administration. As the number of applications multiplies, processing times may grow longer. For this reason, we recommend that you submit your application as soon as the details and location of your event have been locked.
