Retail sale of alcohol from licenced premises
Apply for a retail trade licence for indoors licenced premises for the sale of alcoholic beverages with a maximum alcohol content of 8.0% for fermented beverages and 5.5% for alcoholic beverages made by other means. The beverages must be the same as those otherwise served at the restaurant. The alcoholic beverages in retail sale must be the same as those that can be consumed in the restaurant.
Alcoholic beverages may only be sold in pre-filled, sealed packaging. Retail sale of alcoholic beverages is permitted between 9 am and 9 pm. The customer may not consume alcoholic beverages sold as retail in the licensed premises or in its immediate vicinity. Retail trade licence for an event
As a rule, alcohol retail trade licences are not granted for events that have an alcohol serving licence. An exception to this is the presentation events with several producers of alcoholic beverages, such as a beer fair, for which a retail licence can be granted.
