Customer services provide advice on the tasks and services of the Finnish Supervisory Agency and support in the use of e-services.
Use e-services when you want to initiate your case
The processing of your case will be fastest when you access services electronically. You can find the e-service channels on our website, each on their own page.
When you wish to initiate your case, you should primarily do so in e-services. If you are unable to use e-services, please see the instructions for submitting the material to the Finnish Supervisory Agency’s registry (in Finnish).
The initiation of matters refers to such things as the submission of applications, notifications, and document requests. A matter cannot be initiated through our customer service.

We advise both employers and employees on the following topics:
- questions related to employment contracts, pay, working hours, annual holidays, and other terms of employment
- Please note: If you are in a public-service employment relationship, we provide advice on matters concerning working hours and annual leave. The enforcement of other legislation on public-service employment relationships is not within our competence.
- improvements to working conditions and development of occupational safety and health activities at the workplace
- safety of the working environment and working methods as well as machines and equipment
- questions concerning well-being at work, including psychosocial strain, harassment, and inappropriate treatment as well as discrimination at work.
We also receive notifications of occupational accidents.

Further information about calls
We record calls to improve the quality of our service. Calls concerning occupational safety and health matters are not recorded.
Calling the customer service and queuing is subject to a fee.
The cost of the call will depend on your phone subscription
- a local network charge when you are calling from a fixed telephone or
- a mobile phone charge when you call from a mobile phone.
Please note that the fixed monthly fee for your subscription (such as one that covers a set amount on telephone minutes) does not necessarily include calling numbers beginning with 0295. You can check with your operator.
